Dogwoof Global was created in 2011, and has established itself as a leading world sales agents for documentaries like Blackfish, Dior and I, Weiner and Cartel Land, offering filmmakers world class representation, alongside raising finance, UK theatrical distribution and direct to consumer global distribution via our international network of online and theatrical partners.

Our current production slate includes films about Vivienne Westwood, iconic artist Yayoi Kusama and a new film from Dior and I director Frederic Tcheng.

Dogwoof Ltd started life as a UK theatrical distributor of independent films; it is a London based company, and was founded in 2004 by Andy Whittaker and Anna Godas. The company have theatrically released a huge range of award-winning and popular films including Blackfish, Dior and I, The Look of Silence, The Act of Killing, Cutie and the Boxer, Restrepo, The Queen of Versailles, Food Inc,. The House I Live In, The Age of Stupid, Food, Inc., Dreams of a Life, and The Spirit of ’45. 

Dogwoof is currently focusing on growing the production arm of documentary features and series, working with key producers on steering the company towards vertical integration.
