Two films nominated by London Critics' Circle

Dogwoof are delighted to announce that two of our films have been nominated for Best Documentary ahead of next year's 37th London Critics' Circle Film Awards. The titles are Cameraperson from director Kirsten Johnson and Life, Animated, from Academy Award®-winner Roger Ross Williams.

The winner of the award will be announced at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards ceremony on the evening of Sunday 22 January 2017 at London's May Fair Hotel. We wish the best of luck to both of our nominees.

Exposing her role behind the camera, Kirsten Johnson reaches into the vast trove of footage she has shot over decades around the world.

Life, Animated tells the remarkable story of how Owen Suskind, a boy diagnosed with Autism, found in Disney animation a pathway to language and a framework for making sense of the world.
