On Friday evening we celebrated the UK premiere of Station to Station at the Barbican Centre in London. The screening was followed by a Q&A with director and artist Doug Aitken. Following the Q&A there was a special performance from White Mystery, a Chicago based band that features in Station to Station.
Station to Station is a living project exploring modern creativity. Over 24 days, Station to Station traveled 4,000 miles by train from the Atlantic to the Pacific. An evolving group of artists, musicians, and performers took part in a series of unique happenings. Over 30 days Station to Station will be taking over the Barbican Centre including daily screenings of the Station to Station film that premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2015.
Station to Station is in cinemas from 26 June and will also be available on demand.
The DVD will be available August 10th, but will be sold exclusively at Barbican Centre during the Station to Station exhibition June 27th - July 26th. The DVD features a special reversible cover, and you can order a portrait version of the poster in either the red or blue colour palette:
