The nominations for this years Emmy Awards for News and Documentaries are in and we are proud to have 6 films nominated in various categories. Whats more, every single film up for Best Documentary is a Dogwoof title so we are guaranteed at least one win!
The four films up for Best doc are How to Die in Oregon, Better This World, Enemies of the People and Last Train Home. Better this World has also been nominated for two other awards - Outstanding Investigative Journalism and Editing. It's up against Enemies of the People for the Journalism award, a film which also got another nod for research. Last Train Home also got another nomination for Buisness and Economic reporting. Meanwhile two other Dogwoof films are up for Outstanding Informational programming - Page One: Inside the New York Times and Mugabe and the White African, with Page One also a contender for the Editing award.
Another Dogwoof film also got a nod over in the Primetime Emmy nominations - Bobby Fischer Against the World was nominated for Outstanding Nonfiction Special
