Dogwoof Ambassadors at Popup Cinema
Want to wow audiences by screening brand spanking new films as soon as they hits cinemas? How about creating a partnership with Dogwoof and not making your screening a one-off but a rolling screening programme? "How very entrepeneurial!" I hear you cry. Dogwoof Ambassadors are given the amazing opportunity to behave just like a cinema. They have the freedom to show any of our films both old and new, reaping the benefits in the process.
Who are Dogwoof's Ambassadors?
Students, Teachers, Businesses, Societies, Venue Managers, Charities, Activists, city-dwellers, country folk, Grandmothers, Grandmasters, Record-breakers…. you get the idea.
What do Ambassadors do exactly?
Ambassadors set up screenings of Dogwoof's new releases in their communities at the same time as cinemas elsewhere in the country. They source a venue, spread the word and then host a screening with a difference.
What's the difference between an Ambassador and a Cinema?
We believe Amabssadors are the future of film distribution. It's cinema your way, whenever and wherever. No community should have to wait to see great new films. Dogwoof's Ambassadors have been known to make use of some pretty wierd and wonderful venues including polytunnels and antique shops. And some ambassadors just want a normal screening facility thank you very much. What they do all have in common is access to fantastic, award-winning films and superbly executed marketing campaigns.
What are the Benefits?
Ambassadors are totally integrated into the film's release campaign to ensure they get to benefit from all the buzz just as a cinema does. And like a cinema, Ambassadors nomally treat their screenings as public, ticketed events so they can generate a nice little earner in the process (bonza!), Now and again, Ambassadors organise private events for exclusive memberships and sometimes they use their screening as a fundraiser - it depends on the Ambassador and what floats their canoe
As well taking advantage of the PR an marketing campaign going on for the film's release, Dogwoof provide promotional materials to help with local PR campaigns. These are a combination of downloadable assets and printed materials. Plus we list the screening on our websites in the same way as cinema. Pretty good, considering the whole film's campaign is directing people to the film's offical website.
